What happens during a pet’s veterinary exam?

Why are annual veterinary exams necessary?

Pets age much faster than humans, therefore they require more check-ups than we do. An annual exam in pets is equivalent to humans going to the doctor every four years for a physical examination. Middle-aged to senior pets need to be examined twice per year, while puppies and kittens should receive three veterinary exams in their first year of life.
