Dr. Yuri Yoon

Dr. Yoon grew up in Chilliwack. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Victoria and completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, in 2009. After graduation, she returned to BC and began her career with us in 2016.

Dr. Yoon has a special interest in internal medicine, dermatology, and pain management, which drives her passion for providing high-quality care to pets and their owners.

Dr. Yoon and her husband Daniel have two pets at home, stunning cats named Bella and Julia. Bella is a Himalayan and is visually impaired but lives a normal and happy life despite being blind. Julia is a Domestic Shorthair (DSH) who was adopted from the SPCA. She loves exploring and playing with her toys. Both cats eat Hill’s prescription i/d diet for their sensitive gastrointestinal condition.

In her spare time, Dr. Yoon enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, canoeing, and fishing. She also loves trying out new recipes at home and exploring new restaurants to experience different dishes. Dr. Yoon is bilingual, speaking both English and Korean fluently.
